Most of the eastern half of the nation will enjoy a fantastic late-summer Wednesday while the Northwest sees some rain.
East: Practically the entire eastern half of the U.S. will enjoy clear skies and pleasant temperatures in the 80s on Wednesday. Only some afternoon thunderstorms will spoil the splendor in Florida and portions of the Southeast coast.
West: The Pacific Northwest and northern Rockies will see rain and cool temperatures. Some more showers are possible in California and the Southwest.
