We all thought when two of Britain's biggest YouTube stars tied the knot the whole thing would be streamed live on the internet.

But Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman have managed to keep their wedding under wraps for three days.

There had been no real hints to fans that the big day was imminent or that it had even happened.

That was until they simultaneously shared the news on Twitter earlier.

Cue a flood of congratulatory messages from fans which set #jimandtanyagetmarried to start trending on Twitter.

Fellow vloggers who had been sworn to secrecy were then quick to post their shots from the special day.

As expected YouTubers Zoe Sugg, Alfie Deyes and Zoe's brother Joe Suggs were among the guests.

The actual ceremony took place at Babington House in Somerset on Thursday, September 3.

Proposal

The couple have been engaged for nearly three years after he asked her to marry him in New York in December 2012.

Although the actual proposal wasn't filmed he did post a video which showed him just as he was about to pop the question and then his reaction straight after she had agreed to marry him.

Jim and Tanya met in 2007, three years before they both started YouTubing.

She was a trained make-up artist. He is the brother of the veteran beauty vloggers Sam and Nicki Chapman of Pixiwoo.

First date

Earlier this year she told Nick Grimshaw on the Radio 1 Breakfast show about their first date, at the cinema.

"Jim hadn't really had girlfriends. I don't think he'd had a girlfriend before me so he was really inexperienced.

"He had no idea what to do on a date whereas I'd been to loads of dates to the cinema with boys.

"He didn't hold my hand or anything the whole film. He didn't touch me."

A lot has changed since then and they both now have YouTube channels with 5.5m subscribers between them.
