That’s one of the findings of a new Quinnipiac University National poll out Monday, which found that 71% of U.S. voters are “dissatisfied” with how things are going nationally, while a mere 2% say they are “very satisfied.”
Additionally, 27% of respondents say they are “angry” with the federal government, while 49% say they are dissatisfied, though not angry.

Neither party fared particularly well. Republicans, who control Congress, received a 12% approval rating for their job performance, while the Democratic minority stood at 27%. Voters were evenly spit on whether they’d prefer the GOP or Democrats win control of the legislative branch in 2016.
Quinnipiac also surveyed voters on several issues. Among the findings:
Said Malloy: “Higher education on Uncle Sam’s dime gets a big thumbs up from Americans and an even bigger high five from younger voters.”
