Researchers in Singapore have developed a smart glasses app for those with dementia and the elderly.
Using face and image recognition, it can detect the identity of their family and friends and remind them to take the correct pills and dosage.
The app has been tested on a prototype Google Glass platform. User trials are expected to take place within the next two years.
Nicholas Fearn spoke to Dr Lim Joo Hwee, one of the scientists behind the project.
