DEVELOPING: A Resorts World Casino tour bus has crashed into a building in Queens, the FDNY is on the scene and local outlets are reporting multiple injuries.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Woodhaven Boulevard near 63rd Avenue in Rego Park. At least 17 people were injured, according to Fox5NY. The bus driver was reportedly pinned after the crash but has since been freed, according to CBS New York.
Photos and video from the scene showed a red brick building that had sustained serious damage on multiple floors. The building had a sign for a law practice on its side, though its not clear if the building is residential or commercial.
An SUV was also damaged in the crash, but it was unclear whether or not it had been parked at the time of the accident.
Firefighters could be seen tending to at least two people outside the bus and several firefighters were also working their way into the bus through numerous entrances.
