The site responsible for this sparkling homage to Drake is shutting down. That’s right, Blingee, a holdover of the MySpace era (sort of… it was founded in 2007, which actually feels astoundingly recent) is leaving us. Though it launched a solid four years after MySpace, it’s glittering, manic graphics were a trademark of the site, and have managed to retain their nostalgic appeal. Blingee-made images live on in Tumblr and across the rest of the Web, as a sort of tongue-in-cheek, retro take on remix culture.

But none of that matters, because Blingee is over. The site has offered instructions on saving your Blingees (you have until August 25), but then what? Where will we go to make these beautiful monsters? Here’s where.

Image Chef is not a great-looking site, but you can upload a photo and turn it into messy masterpiece, complete with animated GIFs of Grumpy Cat laid over your original image.
