Here is a LG 55lf6000 review. There are a couple of HDMI ports which can come in handy when you need to connect your console or even your laptop. There is a single USB 2.0 port which can be used to browse your pictures. It's a shame that you can't use it for video playback. There is also ports for audio output.
You can even take one to your bedroom and it won't look out of place. It is HD and pictures are way better than a simple SD connection and TV combo.
The audio performance is pretty satisfactory. You are not going to get home theater kind of an experience but it is still good. If you are an audiophile (like us) we would recommend getting external sound bars which elevate your audio experience.

The refresh rate is very good. We can't completely write off this refresh rate as useless. It still does a very good job even when you play games on it. To support this nice picture quality we have an excellent viewing angle. This is great if you are planning to call friends for a weekend and then decide to binge watch your favorite series.
All my TV's are LG (have been since I sold them ~ 10 years ago), and they continue to be one of the best deals around. I'm not interested in smart TV's (I have Roku's for that), and I'm very glad that LG keeps making these.
Perfect picture at 1080P resolution (2015 Model) Do not need 4K res), does not have a lot of features that you really do not need. Found no audio delay at all between SPDIF fiber audio output when running to my Surround sound amp which I had with my previous TV. The audio performance is pretty satisfactory. You can if you want to mount your TV on the wall. When looked from the sides but can easily be moved around if you had to, it does look a little bulkier. For a TV that is priced this low, we have to say that they haven't compromised on the design.

The design is fairly simple. It looks nice from the front without too much bezel surrounding the screen. You can see the speaker below the display and the fact that they are front facing could be a very good thing. If it'll hold the television properly, the stand is solid and there is no need to worry.
There is also ports for audio output.
