I was greeted with HORRIBLE pixelation when I had initially plugged it in. I am using this TV for two purposes - connected to a desktop computer for a large media display, and occasionally I will move it elsewhere for gaming or to enjoy it with my chromecast in another room. The size and weight of this thing makes it fairly portable.

I'll start off by saying that the price for this display is really at a sweet spot.

I started by connecting it to my PC and it took me about an hour to get the settings configured to the point where I figured out what was going on. For a computer monitor output it is imperative that you set the following options:

The rest of the settings resulted in no noticable quality difference to me and are mostly subject to personal preference for colors, brightness, etc

. After setting it up properly, its just as sharp as I would expect for a 1080p TV of this size. You'll know you have it setup right if your mouse cursor when hooked up to a desktop looks extremely crisp with no weird artifacts around the shadow behind the cursor.

Overall I wish the setup came with a computer mode or something that would make these settings adjustments for you, but after having played around with it I couldn't be happier for the price.

Sound/speakers are acceptable, but nothing spectactular. Hook up something external if you care about sound quality at all.
