As the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus start to ship, it’s time for you to start thinking about how you’re going to protect the new gadget. While the S cycle means you can probably just use your old case, the iPhone 6s is 0.2mm longer and thicker than the 6, and 0.1mm wider. The 6S Plus is also a few tenths of a millimeter bigger than the 6 Plus. If you upgrade, check to see if your hard case will fit the new phone—leather or silicone cases should fit just fine.
But even though most iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cases will fit the 6S and 6S Plus respectively, that hasn’t stopped iPhone case developers from launching new lineups.
